Shannon Murphy Barnes
I am an experienced family law attorney trained in collaborative divorce and mediation, and committed to maintaining civility throughout the divorce process. My practice focuses on family law issues and on providing clients with a fair and balanced approach to conflict resolution. I am committed to helping clients work toward sensible solutions to resolve their divorce and other family law cases.

I served as a staff member of Merrimack Valley Legal Services in Lawrence for four years before entering private practice. Throughout my career I have provided community training, student mentoring and volunteer training for organizations throughout the North Shore. I am admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and in the Federal District Court, District of Massachusetts.

I am a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, the Essex County Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and North Shore Women Lawyer's Association. I also serve as a member of the Essex County Lawyer for the Day Committee and as a panel member of North Shore Community Mediation, Inc.
